you probably just received some Kreative Unikorn creations! Yay!

The first rule of crystal ownership…there are no rules. I won’t bore you with what you need, cause you already know. You selected exactly what was meant for you...the rest will come to you organically. The only thing I want to make sure we understand is how to prep your crystals prior to use. Let’s get into it, in MORE DETAIL!

Carrying your Crystals: Literally anywhere is a good place lol….your car, pocket, bra, or wrapped in copper as a wearable statement piece. Before you adorn yourself however, we gotta get em ready for ya, and you gotta get ready for them!

Crystals can carry energy from many people, from the time it is harvested, to the time it reaches you. Although I do clear/ cleanse my crystals prior to creating with them, I highly recommend you develop your process for your crystals once they are received.

Cleansing and charging your crystals:

*Depending on the crystal/stone, there are many ways to prep them for use/wearing.

·        Rice or Salt: (place your crystal in uncooked (not cooked lol) rice overnight. Throw away rice the following day. Avoid rice if your crystal has small grooves in it, as it may get lodged in your crystal.

·        Water: allow water to flow over your crystals, but avoid soft crystals like selenite.

·        Earth: bury your crystals in soil (avoid acidic soil). Just like rice or salt, be mindful of the crevices that may be in your jewelry pieces, as soil can get stuck there.

·        Moonlight/Sunlight: sit your crystals out in the sun! A few hours is fine to get them charged right on!

·        Breath: blow gently onto your stone to clean it. Another option would be to stand outside and spin around in a circle to let the wind hit it that way lol.

·        Sound: bells, tuning forks, and sound bowls are perfect for clearing and charging your crystals.

·        Selenite: Selenite is an energy amplifier! It can be used to charge/ amplify the energy of most crystals!

·        Smudging: you can light sage (ethically sourced of course!) and use the smoke to clear/ charge.

·        Crystal charging box: I do carry these intentional boxes, and they are perfect for charging multiple crystals at once. The box itself contains a piece of clear quartz or selenite (energy amplifiers, remember!) Permanently affixed to the box, transforming it into a crystal charging hub! Did you know:

Pendulums are great for removing negative energy from your crystal (This is actually one of my favorite methods). In many cases, a pendulum that is swinging in a circle is clearing energy, while a pendulum that has stopped swinging or is completely still, can indicate that energy has been cleared. Trouble sleeping? Crystals in/ around your bed can help with insomnia, bad dreams, ETC. My preferred crystal has always been amethyst!

Energy a little lopsided at the crib? You can also place certain crystals in corners of your home to balance energy. Always be mindful of the size and combination of the crystals used.

Dedication and intention setting: This is a practice that involves holding your crystal in your hands, right near with the solar plexus (slightly above the belly button). This is a great way to connect with your crystal and set your intentions.

Let’s make it count: If your piece is wrapped with copper, avoid extensive amounts of moisture. I only create with pure untreated materials, meaning it will tarnish over time. Simply clean with a cloth, using non-toxic jewelry cleaner, or citrus.

Thoughts are things, words are spells: be mindful of your thoughts before and while handling your crystals! Take time to get to know them. Self-guided research is always the best form of research! And remember, these crystals are meant to assist you in the work that you are already doing/ ready to start doing.

They are extensions of you, because you are the primary source of your power! Don't let anybody tell you different! Not even you!
